ALISON BLACKMAN DUNHAM

Alison Blackman Dunham & Jessica Blackman Freedman were twins, relationship experts, and advice columnists.After successful, individual careers, these dynamic, wise & witty sisters teamed up bring their unique brand of wisdom to an international audience.  Until Jessica's untimely death a few years ago, they were hailed as: "The Ann & Abby for the new millennium" and the "Siskel & Ebert of Advice" They were also the authors of the exceptional book for adult singles: RECRUITING LOVE - Using The Business Skills You Have To Find The Love You Want .

Alison Blackman Dunham is a life & career expert, personal public relations consultant, and freelance writer and advice columnist. She is also the driving force behind the Advice Sisters® "Great Relationships" web site. Through individual and group consultations and her popular career and general advice columns and articles, she has helped thousands of men and women around the world to feel great, be successful, and lead more satisfying lives, utilizing their own, natural assets. She has held a wide variety of executive positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Her academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration degree (in public and arts management) from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts (in public relations and music history) from Syracuse University. She is also certified as an image consultant through the certificate program through Beauty For All Seasons.

Ms. Blackman Dunham is the co-author of two self-help books: RECRUITING LOVE - Using The Business Skills You Have to Find the Love You Want Cyclone Books, 1998 and the soon-to-be published EVERYTHING DATING GUIDE -2nd Edition Adams Media, 2005, as well as four self-published, self-help E-books on social behavior, singles and dating, and wedding etiquette and dilemmas. She created and starred in  "Making New Connections" a series of five, audio, CDs about how-to-enhance-sociability. Alison’s advice columns are highly rated by readers and life & career professionals both online and in print, around the world. She has been recognized for her service to other through the Borough President of Brooklyn Howard Golden, Mayor Edward Rendell of Philadelphia, the Community Mayors of New York State, The Sunset Park Little League, and the Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst. She is also co-founder of the Metropolitan Tribe organization, a non-profit support network for creative entrepreneurs.
