Supersize! Kiehls Creme de Crops is the Cream of the Crop for Holiday & Winter

When the holidays arrive, so does dry skin.  And if there’s one company that knows how to combat that, it’s Kiehls.  Their Creme de Corps they’ve been ministering to skin care needs since 1851 (it says so right on the label).

Anyone with itchy, dry skin knows (or will, after this article) that Kiehl’s Creme de Corps packs an emollient wallop to make skin feel soft, smooth and hydrated, thanks to a formula that includes:  beta carotene, sesame seed oil, cocoa seed butter, and more. There are plenty of super-hydrating skin care lotions on the market, at various price points, but Kiehl’s Creme de Corps goes a step above, because it is very rich, but once it is infused into the skin, it instantly improved skin.   It’s really pretty amazing. Who doesn’t love instant results and continuing skin care?!!!   All you need to do is smooth the creme into any place on your body that is dry (Tip: do this right after bathing, when your skin is still damp, and the moisturization will be even more effective –but wait a few minutes before dressing to let the rich creme sink in).

If a product works and it is pleasant to use, you’ll want to use it often.  So for the holidays, Kiehl’s has come up with something really special:  four limited edition bottles dressed up  in Brooklyn artist Kenny Scharf’s colorful, comic book/graffiti style graphics (a special piece created by Scharf for Kiehls called “Globo Mundo.”).  The artwork is featured on labels for three sizes of Creme de Corps, and one size of Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter. There is also a piece of art, a Kenny Scharf “Squirt” sculpture ($50.00)  nicely boxed.  The gift we love the most, as the Cream de la Creme (dream of the crop) for holiday, is the Kiehl’s Creme de Corps ($75.00) in an impressive, supersized, 33.8 fl. oz. pump bottle. This bottle will last for months, depending upon how often you slather the product on your skin. For size alone, it makes a fabulous and memorable gift idea. But of course, the lotion inside is what we crave!  Smaller sizes are: 8.4 fl. oz. ($29.50) and $16.9 fl. oz. ($48.00) and the 8 oz. . jar of Body Butter is $38.00.

Give back and feel good:  There’s another compelling reason to purchase Kiehl’s Kenny Scharf items this holiday season:   100% of Kiehl’s worldwide net profits, up to $200,000, will support children’s charities worldwide. In the United States, 100% of net profits will support RxArta non-profit national organization, committed to fostering artistic expression and awareness through the challenging, yet rewarding task of engaging young patients through contemporary art in pediatric hospitals (how cool is that?!!).   RxArt is dedicated to placing original fine art in patient, procedure and examination rooms of healthcare facilities, for the engagement and comfort of patients.

3.)  Meet “Squirt!”  Kiehl’s customers have the opportunity to own an actual piece of Kenny Scharf’s artwork with the Limited Edition Kenny Scharf Exclusive “Squirt” Collectible.  “Squirt” is an emotive character often featured in Scharf’s artwork, and he has two different expressions, one on either side.   Each “Squirt” is individually numbered, and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.

There are other sizes (see photo on the top of this page) and of course, there are plenty of other Kiehl’s holiday gift sets with other, beloved Kiehl’s items.   These items are available on and . If you’re not sure what your recipient will covet the most, get them a Kiehl’s E-Gift Card!
