Style, Sound, Cool & Price For One Love & Music @HouseofMarley #LiveMarley

When you’re looking for new headphones for yourself or for a gift, it’s not just the price or the name that counts, but style and sound really count too.  House of Marley has a lot of different on-ear and earbud-type headphones, not to mention sound docks like the Roots Rock that have really made us feel the love.  Here are two affordable House of Marley headphones to consider getting now for yourself, or for that special someone:MARLEY-UPLIFT-DRIFT_02For under $30.00 you really can get good style and great sound from a set of earbuds,. and the ones from House of Marley may just get the prize as the coolest, around, as well.  Try these House of Marley new UPLIFT in-ear headphones for just $29.99 ($39.99 with a three-button remote on the cord). These are made with earth-friendly materials, composed of recyclable aluminum and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified sapele or beech wood. The logo is machined out of the aluminum chassis and then bead blasted or tumbled for an aged effect and added durability. I’m showing you the ones I received to review called “Drift” in white with wood, but you can also get them in elegant black with gold (“Grand”) or black and wood (“Midnight”).  The
Uplift comes with three different sizes of plastic eartips so you can find the ones that work best for your personal comfort.  There is 52″ cable is wrapped in braided fabric to reduce noise and avoid tangles (and that really does work).
For those who like Tech speak, the earbuds have 8mm moving coil drivers that provide clean, crisp sound with powerful bass.  The in-ear design for deep bass, with a frequency response of 18Hz – 20kHz for authentic sound and a 8-millimeter driver, 16 ohms impedance and a Dynamic micro speaker with neodymium magnet for sound reinforcement. In other words. the sound is rich and impressive, especially for ear buds. There is a right-angled, 3.5-millimeter gold-plated connector designed to fit with a variety of device cases and create a high-quality connection for sound.
These earbuds are supposed to be noise isolating and while they won’t cancel noise entirely, they do dull it quite a bit.  I tried them on an airplane where the ambient noise level was much like that of a freight train, and while the noise was still noticeable, it was manageable.   These ear buds are impressive not just for the price, but for the sound quality. The remote is a nice feature for an additional $10.00 that allows you to pause, and have volume control.
house of marley pulse headphonesFor those who just want good sound and not too many bells and whistles, but lots of style, and a great price, you can’t do better than the House of Marley Positive Vibration On-Ear Headphones ($59.99).  These super eco-friendly headphones are not only cool to look at, they’re designed and built with recyclable aluminum, steel, and canvas that adds to durability and comfort, while keeping materials out of the waste stream.
You won’t find any remotes on this one, but you will find 40mm drivers that reside in adjustable on-ear ear cups that are very nicely padded for comfort. The ear cups are adjustable via a sliding wire and spring mechanism and will fit most (if you are buying these for a younger person or you have a small head, note that the fit is generous). There is also a 4′ long cable and Stereo 3.5mm gold-plated connector to provide secure and static-free connection to your devices. It also has a great, fabric covered, braided, tangle-free cord that (trust me on this one because I wear tested the cable on this model and the earbuds above), you’ll find they won’t tangle. You also get a nifty drawstring carry pouch for travel. It isn’t padded, but it will definitely appeal to hipsters who won’t care, because it looks unique. Another thing to love about these headphones is that you can get them in various styles. The Positive Vibration’s headband is covered in canvas but you can get it in four different color ways (Mist, Pulse, Rasta, Sun) . The one you see in the photo above is the one we received to review called “Pulse,” silver and black and grey, with a merest hint of a design on the inside of the headband. The others are a bit more colorful, but this one goes with everything from jeans to black tie.
