Major Aromatherapy Benefits!
A Review of Morgan Taylor’s BareLuxury Complete Pedicure & Manicure
Morgan Taylor has given us another way to flaunt our hands and feet and enjoy a spa-style mani-pedi ritual with their BareLuxury Complete Pedicure & Manicure . This is a clever and delightful, four-step system aromatherapy skin treatment to use at home or to request at your favorite nail salon. You get four packets each containing a step to use before you get to the actual mani-pedi and polish with your favorite Morgan Taylor polish color. There is more than enough in the packets for both hands and feet.
BareLuxury is such a find! There are four different aromatherapy scents. Two are to help you UNwind, two are to help you REwind. All four are highly scented with essential oils. Even if the products are on your feet, you can actually enjoy the scent wafting upwards. Calming lavender and Sage; Renew Seaberry and Kukui, Detox Ginger and Green Tea, and Energy Orange and Lemongrass. No matter which one you choose (and they are all lovely and smell authentic, not like chemicals) you get the same 4 steps to follow for fabulously soft, vibrant and detoxed skin.
4 steps before your Mani-Pedi for Pleasure and Softer, Smoother, Scented Skin:
Step 1: Purifying Soak: Cleanses, softens and purifies your skin. Add it to a basin of water, soak 2-5, minutes, towel dry hands and feet. If you don’t have a tub, a large bowl works for hands. I couldn’t find one large enough for my feet, but frankly, I am not a wonder when it comes to pedicures and do mine at the nail salon. If you are going to do this at home, my suggestion is to invest in a large plastic “tub” if you don’t have a real tub in your bathroom.
Step 2: Energy Detox Masque. This creamy masque detoxifies, brightens and helps to revive skin, thanks in large part to Kaolin Clay. Put on some soothing music, smooth it on your skin, close your eyes for a few minutes and relax, it’s me time!
Step 3: Salt Scrub. Without removing the masque, you apply the salt scrub which has sea salt in it along with soothing oils. Scrub abut not too hard, as the masque and scrub together will be doing the job of exfoliating for you. Rinse and towel dry.
Step 4: Massage Butter lets you enjoy the scent of those fabulous essential oils on your skin as you re-hydrate your skin and move on to the main part of your mani-pedi. The gel-like massage butter rinses clean but leaves the lovely fragrance you have chosen behind. In our tests, it didn’t absorb lightning fast, so if you’re in a hurry, you’ll have to wash some off your hands to get that mani-pedi going, but spread it all over your arms and legs for super-softening. If you have the time, enjoy a hand or foot massage that you DIY or let someone else do it (they’ll get the aromatherapy benefits, too).
There is absolutely no way to recommend a specific fragrance, as they all are lovely and do something different for mood adjustment. If I had to recommend one for Summer, when the heat and humidity gets you feeling a bit “slow,” I really liked the Orange & Lemongrass for a happy boost. The bright citrus scent revives you. Do this before a big date and you’ll be ready to focus, or dance the night away.
Another thing I really like about the Morgan Taylor BareLuxury Complete Pedicure & Manicure? The foil single use packets with colorful graphics are “Taylor-made” (pun intedned) for travel. Bring a set on your next vacation to pamper yourself and save the spa expense for something else. It’s also a great hostess gift or a party take-away gift for your guests or for your next girls’ night in!
These BareLuxury Complete Pedicure & Manicure products seem to be primarily directed to salon professionals, so ask for them in your favorite nail salon, but you can find them online as well (price varies). However, we suggest you visit the Morgan Taylor Web Site and learn more first.
