Fall is the perfect time to add accessories, especially if you’re not sure you want to spend a lot of money on pricey items this early in the season. Accessories are a cool way to update. And they needn’t cost a fortune, either. The Advice Sisters are suggesting four truly fabulous jewelry companies with “finds” for Fall, and way beyond:
For example, Kim & Zozi – Kim & Zozi calls their designs “hippie bling” with tassels, beads and slim bracelets that beg to be stacked all the way up your arm. Their colorful bracelets were created by designers from Australia and Canada, handmade in Los Angeles, and worn anywhere that bohemian style is embraced (which is just about, everywhere). The jewelry is inspired by the things the creators can’t live without: Love, Art, Music, Design, Surf, Fashion, Friends and Family.
“Abyss” (srp. $42.00-$55.00) is the Advice Sisters choice not just for a colorful accent, but it’s the perfect combination of hippie with a hint of bad-ass thanks to a metallic skull spacer on every bracelet.
The bracelets are strung on stretchy nylon cord to fit most everyone and they’re really comfortable to wear. Our photos show both a gold and silver version. Wear one or a couple, or mix them in with some of your favorite other wrist adornments. Since the bracelet is stretchy but then stays in place, you can also wear it safely with your watch! These eye-catching bracelets are just one of tons of other things Kim & Zozi offer, but I think these give you a lot of mileage for your fashion dollars!

Lia Sophia has been one of The Advice Sisters’ favorite accessories brands, especially their Red Carpet collections. But whether you’re going for the bold, or just something small and sweet, this company has something for everyone. “We wrote the book on style,” is their claim. They support it well, with lovely, affordable jewelry that you can purchase through a Lia Sophia advisor, perhaps at a Lia Sophia party hosted by someone you know (or maybe, now, you). The pieces come with a lifetime replacement guarantee and are nicely crafted, but surprisingly, 60% of this season’s styles are less than $50.00.
If you’re into statement pieces, Lia Sophia has tons of gorgeous and significant looking items. Statement jewelry was being featured on every runway during Fall 2013 Fashion Week. This “Melodius” ($138.00) necklace and matching earrings is from the Spring 2013 collection, but even 90210 actress Jessica Lowndes wore it not too long ago at the TopShop store opening event in Los Angeles. This is the set I personally selected to wear all season long, and I’ll be wearing it well into the Winter, too. I can imagine wearing this as the Winter arrives, nestled on a soft, mint-green, cashmere sweater, but it is equally at home making a funky statement on a plain tee and with jeans. From the Fall 2013 collection are these romantic, “Slow Dance” earrings ($48.00) that feature a slightly more subdued shade of mint green. I personally am in love with this Ring (Style 6C661 $98.00) that really looks like a designer original. It is available in whole sizes 5-9, featuring a soft lemon yellow 5.5 carat CZ accented by fine pavé and set in rich gold (*Tip: if you want this one, order a size down from your regular ring size)
Lia Sophia also all plenty of feminine cameos, lacy gold and silver designs, an even an art-deco-inspired cuff that would add new life to your Fall wardrobe and become your signature piece. There are also pieces with ropes of pearls, some more dramatic, “movie star” looks in the Red Carpet Concorde ad Eclatant collections.
These two collections offer upscale style such as this Eclectique Stretch Cuff Bracelet from the Red Carpet Exlatant collection. It’s $450.00 but isn’t it gorgeous?!
Lia Sophia also lets entrepreneurial women host their own trunk shows/parties and earn not just money, but discounts on Lia Sophia Jewelry. Have fun and make money and strut around town in the latest from Lia Sophia. Hostesses receive 20% of their party sales in free jewelry and when they host a party they also can get any 4 jewelry styles at Hostess Bonus prices, any five jewelry styles at half price, and the ability to double their hostess rewards.

Sometimes, the simplest accessories make the biggest splash. For example, this Alison White Pearl Necklace Style #N110 from Natural Life’s Gypsy Collection ($36.00) . It features a 16″ slim, brown leather necklace with 6 large and luminous, genuine white pearls dangling from leather. Another large pearl fastens the necklace with a leather loop closure. The look is both delicate but adds a lot of interest to a neckline. And it’s really lightweight and comfortable on your neck. Pearls can often be a bit stodgy, but this necklace takes them on an edgier patch with the leather, and it’s a modern way to wear pearls.
You can also get this necklace with black pearls on a light brown leather cord as the Laney Black Pearl Gypsy Necklace Style #N093 ($36.00). Add a Natural Life pearl and leather pearl bracelet Style #BRC063 for $28.00. I really like the free-spirited, boho style of Natural Life. Creator Patti Hughes started Natural Life in 1996, out of her own passion for creating photo keepsakes. On the Natural Life website you’ll find a wealth of adorable gifts ad collectibles, with inspirational sayings, embellishments, talismans, and gifts that look hand-crafted. I love the accessories, tunics and other clothing, too. More on those, in another feature!
