It’s up to you, it surely can be done
Young and old are doing it, I’m told
Just one try, and you too will be sold
It’s called Le Freak! They’re doing it night and day
Allow us, we’ll show you the way
Le freak, see’est Chic
“Le Freak” is an R&B classic disco tune by the group “Chic.” It was #1 on the disco charts for 7 weeks back in the late ’70’s.
Lip Freak, C’est Chic!
I really think Chic could have been singing about Dr. Lip Bang’s Lip Freak Lip Balm and the Dr. Lip Bang’s Lip Freak Tinted Lip Balms (debuting this February at NY NOW in NYC).
Lip Freak’s swivel up tubes are not uusual, but the lip balms, are.
“Young and old will want to try ” (them) and once they do, as in the song Le Freak, they’ll be sold on these.
What’s The Buzz?
Most lip balms moisturize and protect our lips, and so do the Lip Freak Lip Balms and tinted lip balms, but they do something else: They make your lips buzz and tingle.
Why would you want your lips to buzz and tingle? Because it’s kind of cool. Your mouth literally comes alive.
The new lip tints are all natural featuring very natural colors that look pretty while they protect your lips.
They’re not lip plumpers but that tingle can last up to 30 minutes. If you’re feeling sleeping, or you need to be energized the tingle helps you stay awake. Theoretically you could use these elsewhere but that isn’t the point.
The colors are quite natural, but they are moist and opaque with enough color so that your lips are nicely colored.
Layer them if you wish. Try: Bleeding heart (brownish red) and Sweet Villian (medium berry) or Pinky Swear (medium pink) and Nude Attitude (brownish-ish nude) giving you a full range of color choices.
I also tried three of the 5 original buzzing lip balms: Berry Sinister, Sin-O-Mint, and Coco Loco Mint. These don’t have any color but they do have a flavor. My favorite is the coco-loco mint, which reminds me of a chocolate coated peppermint patty.
More About Lip Freak
Whether you find tingling lips fun or annoying is a personal choice, but you should know that these lip balms are not vegan or completely organic, but they are all natural and cruelty-free.
They’re made in the USA with high-grade essential oils. The secret combo makes the tingle on your lips. However, I can see that there is peppermint oil and cinnamon oil in the mix, and both of these are also used in lip plumpers as they “stimulate” your skin.
At Risk Youth
It’s also nice that a portion of every sale goes to support the Lost Angels Children’s Project, whose mission is to inspire at-risk youth by offering positive programs.
