Just a couple of weeks ago the Advice Sisters reviewed the latest of Essie’s Nail Collection, one we really adore: The Essie Summer 2016 NEON Nail Polish Collection.
This year’s collection is gloriously bold. As always, there is an opaque white “Prime & Pop” to wear alone or underneath the colors as a primer and to soften the colors.
If you’re wondering how to wear these neon brights, we’re offering a how-to from celebrity manicurist, Michelle Saunders, who created an exclusive nail art look called “beach day neon” using shades from essie’s neon 2016 collection.
We like this bright look to wave goodbye to Summer this Labor Day Weekend, but you can use the same technique with other essie polish colors as well,
- To start, coat all ten nails with essie’s prime & pop. This two-in-one white primer and base coat will increase color vibrancy for the neon shades to come!
- Apply essie’s in it to wyn it to the right side of the nail, making sure to follow the same pattern as the opposite side for a clean, symmetrical look.
- Finish with your favorite essie top coat and voilà – your perfect end-of-summer mani is complete!
