(from the M.A..C. Divine Night Press Literature)
The true definition of “Divine” is “excellent; delightful.” And that’s just what The Advice Sisters think the new and limited edition MAC Divine Night for holiday 2013 really is! The collection features three Mineralize Skinfinishes, three Blushes, six Eye Shadows, three Fluidilines, four Kohl Power Eye Pencils, five Lipsticks, four Cremesheen Glasses and three Nail Lacquers. Certainly, the idea is pleasure, and pleasure is what you’ll get when you add pieces of this collection to your holiday look.
So what’s in the M.A.C. Divine Night Collection? I personally tried only three pieces, but they were show-stoppers. You can see all the rest in the collection photo at the top of this page.
You’ve Got It- Pink Undertone with Gold Frost (Frost)
Flair For Finery- Cool pink/nude (Lustre)
Exclusive Event- Taupe brown (Satin)
Prepare For Pleasure- Magenta red (Cremesheen) *I picked this one out and asked ,M.A.C. to send it, because it is such a modern take on red. It is really more like a berried rose, and it is neutral so even if you aren’t the type to rock a bold red lip, you can wear this, and get the same effect. It’s lovely.
Private Party- Mid-tone plum mauve (Satin)
You’ve Got It- Nude taupe with green pearlized pigments
Flair For Finery- Cool nude

Deliciously Rich- Shimmering mid-tone Taupe
Stares & Speculation- Mid-tone olive with gold pearlized pigments
False Black- Black
Lured to Love- Coral pink base with frost
Talk of the Town- Warm brown base with yellow bronze *I wouldn’t really call this a “blush as much as I would a glitzed-up peachy highlighter. There is so much shimmer in this that you have to apply it with a light touch, or you’ll end up looking “shiny” not sexy. But dusted on key areas with a big, fluffy brush –sex kitten appeal!
Lavish Living- Violet with silver pearlized base with gold pearlized pigments
Perfectly Poised- Bronzey coral with golden tones/ Creamy beige with pinkish purple sheen
Scene to be Seen- Mauve with pink sheen/ Brick rose with gold reflects
Centre of Attention- Pastel peachy pink with fine pink shimmer/ 24 carat gold shimmer
Fierce Entrance- Rich gold bronze (Frost)
Military- Black matte with silver suede pearlized pigments (Frost) * I’m a sucker for highly pigmented, shimmery silver and grey nail lacquers. This one certainly gives your nails a frosting of deep charcoal with plenty of starry shimmer, but it’s not really glittery, it’s sort of subtle so you can wear it to your conservative job in the daytime and still rock a party, at night.
Gadabout Girl- Blackened plum (Cream)
The collection plays into the dark and metallic colors of the season to come, but don’t wait too long to purchase your favorites since this is a limited edition collection and once it’s gone it’s gone! gone! GONE!
