It there’s one beauty focus that’s a must have for 2011, you can sum it up in one word: LASHES.
While virtually no one is blessed with the kind of thick, lush, sexy fringe you see on virtually every model in virtually every magazine, bold, beautiful lashes are attainable — with a little outside help that Mother Nature hasn’t provided. You can find all sorts of precious potions that will help improve the look of your lashes (Check out my blog post about how to enhance your eyelashes). But these treatments can be quite pricey and they do take time to show results. If you want instant lashes, M-A-C Cosmetics has False Eyelashes Mascara to send you on your way into 2011, in style. M-A-C says of it’s False Lashes Mascara: ” Gives the illusion of extensions, made real without anything but a vital new mega-multiplication formula, creating extremities of volume and curl for a dramatic end look, thickening for what we call the “look alive” eye – wide awake, wonderfully well rested, glamorously engorged – applied with the uniquely engineered double-lush brush for the ultimate lash evolution. Nature take note!”
FALSE LASHES, as you can see, comes in Black –actually “False Black.” For $18.00 U.S./$21.50 CDN you get an elegant mascara in a shiny, black wand with a very curvaceous top. the wand isn’t huge, but it is “uniquely engineered…with design, function, formula and elegance…to take nature further forward than ever before!
In plain, advicesisters language, the brush is slightly thicker in the middle, with a fairly pointhy tip. The shape and size is large enough to get all those tiny lashes that somehow remain un coated when using a traditional, small, straight bristle wand. The mascara formula is created with thickeners and intense pigment. It coats well, adding volume and color, and more thickness with each pass of the mascara wand. I really dislike actual, false eyelashes (I know, makeup artists love them, but you really need to know what you are doing and apply them correctly or you risk looking ridiculous!).
Mascaras like False Lashes from M-A-C won’t completely take the place of extensions and falsies, but at least you will instantly get darker, thicker lashes without any effort, and the flake-and-smudge-resistant formula will last until you remove it. It is also ohthalmologist-tested and safe for contact wearers. In my ratings book,. something simple like False Lashes Mascara by M-A-C Cosmetics is an easy and affordable fix for frail, thin, lackluster lashes.
