FW16 AND SS17 COLLECTIONS AT THE POLISH AMERICAN FASHION FOUNDATION’S POP-UP AT INGLOT
Report by Taskeisha Brewer
As a part of their ongoing mission to promote Polish fashion abroad, the Polish American Fashion Foundation (PAFF) kicked off market week with 9 Polish designers exhibiting pieces from their FW16 and SS17 collections. Fashion trendsetters flocked to the October 17th pop-up shop in collaboration with INGLOT at New York City’s Chelsea Market.
Calling all fashion lovers looking to revamp your wardrobe! A delicious mix of ready-to-wear, hats and scarves, the PAFF pop-up shop has something for everyone. Using the most refined silk prints, Shall We’s scarves are the perfect accessory to compliment your favorite go-to satchel. Each piece is hand finished combination of art and elegance.
The strong colors and precise lines found throughout CONFASHION’s collection is perfect for the woman who likes to stand out but still maintain a certain level of refinement. Inspired by Polish folklore; the collection’s multi-color prints pay homage to the designer’s artistic roots.
Drawing inspiration from architecture, Zalucka Kuczera hones in on classic forms that are cleverly uneven and oversized. Boldly styled coats and jumpsuits composed of Italian linens, handprints and denim are core elements of the collection.
This pop-up will not disappoint even the most demanding fashion junkie!
