Kyoku for Men is the Way, the Path, to Great Skin!

I meant to review Kyoku for men for Valentine’s day, but it slipped past and Fashion Week got in the way. Father’s Day is in June, but why wait to give something wonderful to a special man (or men) in your life? You’ve got to read on about Kyoku:

Men have finally begun to realize that there are products out there that will help them look better, without too much fuss. These products are not for women, or even unisex-sort-of deals. These are skin care products designed specifically to address the needs of male skin, which is often tougher, rougher and of subjected to shaving and other daily skin saboteurs. The products provide protection, nourishment and anti-aging ingredients.

Asim Akhtar, the founder of Kyoku for Men, describes the Kyoku philosophy as: “Just as man has acquired certain qualities in becoming himself, the masculine ideal has mirrored this progression. Masculinity must cross the metaphorical bridge of vanity into its own heightened state, resulting in Kyoku – the climax of masculinity.” If that’s too metaphysical for you, just know that the products Asim has created, use traditional, Japanese ingredients, inspired by a town where most residents have long life and exceptionally great looking skin. It’s the way, the path…to great skin!

The ultimate accessory is the Kyoku for Men Luxury Giftbox $120.00 As you can see from the photo at the top of this page, it’s quite an impressive package both inside, and out. The re-useable, magnetic, hard-sided, matte, black , cardboard box folds upon on each side to reveal a quartet of full sized skin care products (at 20% off their individual prices), to give him an easy to use, effective, skin care routine: Razor Repair Balm; Oil Control Lotion; Exfoliating Facial Scrub; Daily Facial Cleanser; and Lip Fuel.

The Razor Repair Balm was created to combat the irritation, redness, and dryness he feels after every shave. Rare herbs combine with a “Kyoku Anti-bump Shield,” to create an aftershave treatment that not only smoothes the skin texture and calms redness, but also prepares the skin for the next shave as well. Key healing ingredients include: witch hazel, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, and chamomile. Reviewers said it was easy to use, non-greasy, and non irritating.

Kyoku Oil Control Lotion soaks up oil and moisturizes without being greasy. Not every guy has oily skin, but those who do really need the type of oil-control that women have enjoyed in a variety of products. The product has an exclusive “Kyoku Oil-Lift Technology” in which dual-action micro-particles reduce shine but still keep skin fully hydrated. Even better, the Kyoku Oil Control Lotion can be used on the entire face for a soft matte finish, or used just as a spot-treatment.

The Kyoku Exfoliating Facial Scrub has volcanic ash to help pull impurities from the skin and deep clean pores, get rid of blackheads, free ingrown hairs, prevent blemishes, and remove excess oils, without ripping or stripping. It’s volcanic ash, unlike Mount Vesuvius, will not make your skin erupt (pun intended). In fact, used one or two times a week, his skin will glow and stay clean and clear….and everyone will just think he’s “rested.”

The Kyoku Lip Fuel was one of the favorite products among reviewers. Using a combination of three organic butter and SPF 15 to protect lips, this little squeeze tube also has avocado oil to heal and soften, and peppermint and green tea leaf energize lips. “Yeah, I’ll definitely continue to use this one” said our reviewer, as he reached over to stash it in his pocket!

These products are not a steal, they’re more a bit of a splurge, but the results are worth the investment. If you want a luxe Father’s Day gift, ditch the tie and after shave and get him skincare, this year. This also makes a great thank-you for the men in your wedding party, or even, for a new graduate who is about to pound the (very challenging) pavement for a first job. If you look good, you’ll be confident. That’s what it is all about!
