|Viva Glam GaGa 2 M•A•C Viva Glam Available February 17, 2011 through February, 2012
Last Winter, a new set of Viva Glam Lipsticks and Lip Glosses arrrived on the scene, generating a whole lot of excitement, because these were championed by Cyndi Lauper and Lady GaGa. The ladies launched their Viva Glam Lip products to Support the M.A.C. AIDS Fund. . M.A.C. has been supporting this cause for years, and has raised over $150 million for the M.A.C. AIDS Fund through the sale of various Viva Glam lipsticks and lipglasses. 100% of the selling price goes directly to the M.A.C. AIDS Fund. Cyndi’s color was a coral red that I carried around in my purse for months, afterwards. Lady GaGa’s was a light, ladylike, pink Viva Glam Gaga.
But Lady GaGa is back yet again, with a new, light, warm beige (limited edition) pair of Amplified Creme Lipstick and Lipglass, for M-A-C. called Viva Glam GaGa2.
A beige might not look like the easiest color to wear at first, although Lady GaGa wears similar colors, often. But she;s the singing star, after all. I have to say, I immediately figured it wouldn’t work on my fair and somewhat ruddy skin, but actually, it was better than I expected and a nice change from the same-old, same-old. In the Viva Glam GaGa 2 Lipstick, the amplified finish gives you lips enough creamy, moistly-matte color so you look edgy, not bland or with blanked-out lips. The Viva Glam GaGa 2 Lipgloss is actually even nicer. The color is more a pink-ish beige that is fairly netural so cool toned complexions will find it appropriate, too. Some Lipglass formulas are very shiny, but this one is simply moisturizing, not patent-leather in the shine deparLipglasstment. This one is in my makeup bag. because it is different, but still flattering. And, like so many M-A-C lip products, these are both versatile enough to be mixed with other things, so your Viva Glam GaGa2 can be what you really want it to be.
