It would be impossible not to ooh and ahh over Lancôme’s NEW French Riviera Summer Color Collection 2014 . The colors are inspired by the legendary French coastline of the Riviera and they are almost refreshing. From shimmery bronze and blush, to marine tones for eyes and nails, with plenty of sheer pinks, roses, peaches and nudes and shimmery gold to go around for lips, you can’t help but be in love! Here is a little “show and tell” on this collection. Which pieces will you want for your own????

Start your Summer look with the NEW Color Design 6-Pan-Palette ($51.00) in Azure Chic and add accents with NEW Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof ($27.00) in Marine Chic and Golden Riviera for the perfect blend of summer shades.

There are two new Baume in Love colors ($26.00) for a lasting stain of color with comfort and moisture in Verry Cherry, Berry Crush, O’Honey, and Peche Pout *even though these look fairly intense in the photos, they are very, very sheer. They’re really more balm with a semi-shiny touch of color. The formula features a transparent oil that optimizes the translucency of the colors. A protective jelly enhances wear, and shea butter adds moisture and softness. This makes them a perfect pal for Summer, since you don’t want your lips to dry out.

There are two new Gloss In Love ($27.00) for lush lip color with radiant shine and six hours of hydration in Fizzy Rosie and Scarlette Starlette *these are semi-sheer and full of shimmer. If you can’t live without a red lip but want something softer for Summer, Scarlette Starlette will be your new “bestie.” The tube, interestingly, looks like it should have screw off top, but it simply pulls out from the tube (I sat there like a fool, twisting it for a minute before I realized this). Also, the wand has a unique, curved sponge that makes application very precise ..love it!

Anyone who reads my columns knows I’m not a bronzer fan, but I have been converted, with the Star Bronzer Palette ($43.00), that packs petite stripes of blush and highlighter alongside a medium-toned bronzer. The colors are sheer so you can’t go too far into the “faux” zone unless you really pack on the powder, on purpose. Natural and easy to use, the three-in-one is a great travel companion, too. I didn’t try the Star Bronzer Magic Brush to achieve all over color, but anything in a brush/tube is great for travel, too.
