Backstage at New York Fashion Week in February, I got a chance to see some of the stunning runway looks from Butter London for Fall/Winter 2015. But before those looks launch, Spring looks will be busting out all over. “This collection helps to frame the spring must-have trends – bold liner, perfect petal-coloured pouts and dewy skin,” says Katie Jane Hughes, butter LONDON Global Colour Ambassador, “all with fun, complementary shades which allow for a perfectly put together, effortlessly cool look.”
Be a “proper English rose” with pastels, or rock out with bold lips, deep nails, dramatic eyes. butter LONDON gives you the choice with a wide range of colors.
I didn’t try all of the products, but here’s the full lineup:
WINK ™ Matte Liquid Eyeliner ($20): Quick-drying, long-lasting, intense colour payoff with a velvety matte finish for stunning eyes that does not feather, smudge, or transfer. The precision felt-tip, ergonomic shape for easy control and smooth application make flawless application easy to achieve.

HERE’S WHAT I DID TRY!
I shouldn’t play favorites, but I’ve always been a fan of yellow nails. They look fresh, fun, new for warmer weather, and they make a good background for nail art. Alas, most yellow nail lacquer needs a lot of coats to cover. This new one (Cheers!) by butter LONDON coats so smoothly, you can get away with one (but use two, anyway). “Green Fairy” in the High Tea set looks like it is also going to be one of those colors you’ll wear a lot…an opaque light green that is neither too light nor too “baby pastel” to make an impact. It’s only in the High Tea set, but the other three colors in the set will get you through the rest of Winter into Summer so it’s well worth checking out.
Joining the core collection from Butter London right now are 7 new (full sized) shades of butter LONDON nail lacquer ($`5.00 each), plus a cute “High Tea” set of four curated “fashion sized” nail colors ($30.00).
And color coordination is in the works as well with a couple of new makeup items. There is a CHEEKY Cream Blush in a clear peach called “Tiddly,” a WINK Eye Pencil called “All Hail the Queen” that’s nude but deep enough to make a real statement on lids or as a liner.
To match there are two new shades of butter LONDON LIPPY Lip Gloss (a creamy peach that matches the new CHEEKY cream Blush, also called “Tiddly” (like the blush, it’s peachy and sheer-ish but not wimpy–it’s bright and bold and will perk up your complexion in the blush, brighten lips in the gloss), and a sheer-ish nude that matches the WINK Eye Pencil also called “All Hail the Queen.” Both are so silky and glossy, I just love, LIPPY!
The High Tea Collection can be purchased on the butter LONDON web site , ULTA and department stores like Nordstroms and Macys (and their online sites).
