During the holidays, I previewed a great gadget: a “clamshell-style” case with built-in speakers that not only safely houses a classic iPod or other Mp3 player, but also provides reasonably good sound quality when I you want to share your music, out loud.
Recently, I treated myself to a new, slim, iPod Nano. The case I had previously fits the classic very well, but the nano slides around because it is so much smaller. Luckily, I learned about the RockBoom Speaker iPod Case by RockBuds. This clamshell-style case is similar, in that it doubles as an iPod case and a speaker all in one, but it specifically fits the smaller iPods and Mp3 players, like the new Nano. Even better, the speaker is invisible, protected behind the streamlined material of the case.
