Giving back is a great thing to do any time of year, but with Fall in full swing, and the holidays just around the corner, October seems to be “give back” month in which purchases made benefit different causes. The Safe-T-Stool is a nifty, multi-purpose, lightweight but sturdy step stool that will not only help you around your home, or make a good gift for someone always “reaching.” it’s also a way to support organizations that help give women a step up in life.
In order to give women a ‘step-up’ in safety, Safe-T-Stool will donate 10% of all stool sales made from August 1 – October 31, with half of the proceeds going to the Mary Kay Foundation, and half going to local women shelters in communities nationwide. The Mary Kay Foundation began in 1996. Since then it has granted $54 million dollars to organizations fighting cancer and violence against women. In 2014, The Mary Kay Foundation gave almost $5 million to programs committed to ending violence against women and the causes of funding research and education programs for cancers that affect women. So when you buy a safe-t-stool you’re not just helping yourself, you’re other women who without this support, could be in jeopardy.
As you can see from the photos above, the stool can be used for everything and anything. It’s also really sturdy so you don’t have to worry it will tip. I have used similar step stools, but they always felt a bit “rickety.” This one has a rubberized top to ensure you won’t slip. It is lightweight enough to carry with one hand via a recessed hanleon either side. I have used my safe-t-stool for finding things in closets, but you can use it for a ton of other traditional things such as: Workouts, a baby stool or step, in your workshop, for gardening, to store things in (flip it over and it’s a bucket, or a place to put all your beer and wine on ice at your next party. and it’s a cooler! I am sure you will find lots of other things to do with it.
