Will YBF Beauty Be Your Best Beauty Friend?
By Alison Blackman
Do you find yourself selecting the same lipstick or mascara, foundation or eye shadow over all the others in your collection?
Like your best friend, you know you can rely on it. It never lets you down.
Stacey Scheifflein, creator of Your Best Friend (YBF Beauty) wants her products to be the ones you select over all others in your collection.
YBF products are promoted as easy to apply multi-taskers for to flatter women of all skin tones and skin conditions.
They also have some skin benefits including an exclusive “Smart Active Complex™.
This is ” a paraben-free formula with natural extracts from the earth that protects your skin from environmental saboteurs.
There doesn’t seem to be a specific description of what the natural extracts from the earth are, but the list of ingredients for each product are listed on the YBF Beauty website,
More information can also be found by watching the “As Seen on TV” videos on the YBF Beauty website (or on HSN).
Here are some of the Best Sellers from YBF Beauty I tried, and that make it a popular brand!
YBF For The Your Face:
The YBF Yellow Neutralizing Pressed Powder ($25.50) is the powder version of the popular YBF Beauty Neutralizing Creme which seems to be a sellout with lots of praise from consumers.
What it does is neutralize red toned discolorations as a concealer might, but in a less viscous form.
The products also help to blur pores, fine lines, and blemishes, and the pressed powder version made with finely milled powder helps to absorb oily shine. You can apply it with a fluffy brush to set your foundation, but it is packaged in a beautiful red compact with interior mirror and puff.

This is definitely one of my new “best friends” for my face.
A Better Bronzer
I also like the YBF Grater Bronzer $25.50 which is also attractively and innovatively packaged.
Rather than deal with messy loose powder or a cake of bronzer that can get soiled or break, this one lets you turn the dial and “grate” just as much as you want so it’s fresh every time and never makes a mess.
The red mirrored compact contains a medium tinted bronzer that should work for most skin tones. There is a pink compact version ($20) – a portion of the proceeds will go to *thinkbeforeyoupink.org. You can also buy a different version of this on HSN.
I love eyeliner/shadow sets that pair colors for you. I like them even better when the color is intense but easy to blend, and long lasting.
My new “best friend” for eyes is the YBF Intense n’ Stay Eyeshadow $26.80 set with a dual-ended cream shadow and a self-sharpening gel eyeliner pencil.
Both are infused with YBF’s paraben-free Smart Active Complex.
I tried the YBF Intense n’ Stay Eyeshadow Duo in Tantalizing Turquoise (pearl) and Naughty Navy paired with the Intense n’ Stay Eyeliner in bright shimmery Tempting Teal.
I also tried the Intense n’ Stay Eyeshadow duo in light Perfect Plum (pearl) and Awesome Amethyst (deep lavender) paired with an Intense n’ Stay Eyeliner in deep rich Vivacious Violet.
Apply these with a confident hand for a bold look, or smudge them out for a lighter look. It’s up to you. Just be sure to apply and smudge before it dries. Once it does, you are “set.”
Lovely Lip Crayons
Lip Crayons are easy and port-able, but so often they break off in the cap, or they don’t offer enough color. The YBF Bloomin’ Cray Cray Crayon’s latest trio of colors ($29) are named after flowers: Cranberry orchid (cool deep raspberry), Peach Tulip (soft peach) and Tiger Lily (bold warm apricot). all nestled into a handy snap carry bag with individual places to hold the pencils securely in place.
The three pencils are nestled into a handy snap carry bag with individual places to hold the pencils securely in place. There’s a color for every occasion, bold, medium and light.
Avocado oil and shea butter hydrate lips, while the soft pencils glide on like silk, leaving a moist shine and tons of gorgeous longwear color . As a test, I blotted the lip
As a test, I blotted the lip crayons and then tried to rub the color off my lips with a tissue, but the colors resisted! They won’t last through an oily salad, but they will last through a a lot!
You don’t need a sharpener as these pencils swivel up from the bottom, but they also swivel back down, so they won’t break in the top of the cap. swivel up from the bottom.
They’re slim enough to pop one in a pocket or evening bag and perfect when you don’t have time to touch up often, too.
They may be a new best friend for lips. Go “cray cray” for these new colors and these lip crayons!
